Accessibility
Flora should work for everyone.
Flora is being designed so people can use our services across different abilities, devices and ways of communicating.
Built for access
What we build toward.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation
- Screen-reader compatible structure
- Clear focus states and form labels
- Readable contrast and scalable text
- Information that does not rely on colour alone
- Reduced-motion support
- Accessible error messages and instructions
- Alternative text for meaningful imagery
- Plain-language support where possible
Our standard
We design Flora toward WCAG 2.2 AA and applicable Canadian accessibility requirements, and we continue to test and improve the experience as the service evolves.
Canada’s current accessibility guidance emphasizes accessible web pages, applications, digital documents and service-delivery practices.
Need another way?
Digital access should not be the only way to reach Flora.
If you have difficulty using Flora online, contact us and we will work with you to provide another reasonable way to access information or support.
Report a barrier
If something prevents you from using Flora, tell us.
Every report is read by a person. Send us the details and we will respond within five business days.
We are also happy to provide this page, or any Flora document, in a format that works better for you. Just let us know what you need.
